Magman (Yogan in Japan) is a character featured in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, an installment in the Kirby video game franchise by Nintendo and HAL Laboratories.
Character Overview[]
Magman is one of various malevolent creatures who have taken up residence and rule across the galaxy, hiding in the depths of Neo Star. Kirby must defeat him within in active volcano to retrieve one of the shards of the Crystal to progress throughout the story and save the galaxy.
Appearance[]
Magman appears as a shapeless creature made entirely out of magma with only two black beady eyes and a vague mouth-like shape.

Special Abilities[]
Magman is a rather dangerous foe in combat. In his first phase, he resides within the lava, sending pillars of molten rock towards the player, either sprouting the limited platforms or submerging them to damage him. In the second form, he strikes headfirst into the ceiling to cause rocks to fall from above. When on the real offensive, he melts into a red puddle and spews out burning rocks and Burnis which release similar projectiles as well.
